AI Community Builder & Operations Leader
Hi! I'm Javier and I'd love to lead and build Lovable's Community
First and foremost I'm someone who is very passionate about tech. I've worked at Uber for 6 years where I helped scale the community support operation across Latin America. After that I most recently joined Stripe where I lead the global support operations for Link (yes, the same checkout system Lovable currently uses).
In the past months I started creating my own apps using tools like Cursor, v0 and most recently: Lovable. I truly believe in the power of community to help drive adoption of these tools as I've seen it work first hand in both Uber & Stripe.
A non-exaustive list of things I think are relevant
I know what it takes to go from zero to a thriving, engaged community through live vibe-coding sessions, workshops and live meetups that create real engagement at AI Builders MX.
I've learned what to do and what not do when scaling a community of power users.
I understand how to build systems that work at scale while keeping the human connection intact, in my case Drivers and Consumers.
Moodshelf and Sparkcircle are two projects that have now real users and were solely built with the power of good prompting.
I love teaching and connecting people who are leaders in tech through Leadership Stoa, where I know how a good learning program should look like.
I truly understand why Lovable is key to improve time to MVP, as companies like Google and Stripe move away from PRDs to favor faster execution using AI tools.
I'd prioritize X and Reddit since that's where builders naturally hang out and share their wins, we're missing out on all organic convos happening there.
I saw how painful "Build Wars: Webflow vs Lovable.dev" was when it streamed on X, but there's real value in getting people talking about Lovable. Sessions like this one are extremely valuable (just look at the comments and engagement they drive.)
At this point it's a must-have, but I have good practices from building my own community and being an ambassador for Cursor and V0. I know what works and what doesn't when turning power users into champions.
OpenAI already has their academy and Cursor is building one. Right now the best starting point for people are mediocre YouTube videos that showcase only half of Lovable's capabilities, we can do waaay better.
